As Sofitel is one of the world’s most prestigious hotel chains, we wanted to create something really showstopping for their various hotel lobbies. We used Microsoft® Surface® 1.0 and leveraged the power of geo-location with Bing® maps to help guests locate Sofitel locations worldwide, explore the neighborhood, and see recommendations and photos of local restaurants, services, and landmarks.
In addition to the concierge portion of the application, we developed a custom cocktail application, where users create their own unique cocktails right from the table. In addition to being a fun way to order drinks, the application manages the bar inventory and serves as a convenient advertising space.
